microRNA Labeling Kit Selection Guide
FlashTag is Genisphere's newest kit for direct labeling of microRNA, other small RNA molecules (snRNA, piRNA, hnRNA, etc.), aRNA and severly degraded. Labeling is complete in 45 minutes! This ultrasensitive RNA detection kit uses 0.5 to 3.0 micrograms of Total RNA (or Low Molecular Weight RNA enriched from 0.5 to 3.0 micrograms of Total RNA). FlashTag has been validated on commercially available miRNA arrays (printed with oligos in antisense orientation).
The Array900 miRNA kit is specifically for use with microRNA, siRNA, and other small RNA molecules (tRNA, 5S rRNA, nuclease fragments, etc). Accurate, validated results are obtained from only 50-500ng of microRNA-enriched samples (microRNA from 0.5-5µg Total RNA). The Array 900miRNA RT kit is for use on microarrays printed with oligos in sense orientation.
Total and Poly (A) RNA Labeling Kits

Our flagship microarray detection product is the Array 900 kit , which offers unequalled sensitivity combined with unmatched ease of use. The kit works on cDNA or oligo arrays with extremely small intact eukaryotic samples (0.25-1.0 µg total RNA) and requires no concentration or purification steps.
For detecting small degraded or prokaryotic samples (0.5-2 µg total RNA, or 25-100 ng poly(A) + RNA) on cDNA or oligo arrays, we offer the Array 900MPX kit . This includes both dT primer and random primer and is exceptionally versatile, as it can be used with any kind of RNA, including partially-degraded samples.
For detecting small intact eukaryotic samples (1-5 µg total RNA) on cDNA or oligo arrays, we offer Array 350 detection kits . These kits have a fast, high-sensitivity protocol, and also offer two extra-easy protocols for use with larger RNA samples.
For detecting moderate sized samples (10-20 µg total RNA) on cDNA or oligo arrays, we offer the Array 50 kit , which combines the sensitivity and reproducibility of amino-allyl labeling with the simple protocol of direct incorporation.
